Hatfield states, "MHS Legacy Group and its subsidiaries strongly support safety for the benefit of the public, our employees, and the environment...".  Our belief when it comes to safety is: it should be personal, relevant, and important to everyone.  The corporate safety department is dedicated to educating all of its subsidiaries about our ever-changing work environment through ongoing training, site safety audits, and our behavior based safety program.

IWR Building Systems identifies safety as an investment and a commitment to providing a safe working environment for our employees.  We understand both as a company and as individuals that safety is not a request but a condition of employment.  Without this mindset, success is not achievable by any team member.  We initiate this success through our Standard Training & Orientation Program (S.T.O.P.).  This program includes a detailed description of company policies and safe work procedures while complementing our continuing education and Job Safety Analysis cards (JSA's) for each critical phase.

Our Behavior Based Safety Program allows us to trend and analyze our progress and focus on safety.  Proactive observations enable us to be involved in all levels of employment.  Our employees are encouraged and empowered to STOP unsafe work conditions anytime they are recognized.  We communicate to each team member this is their program, and in turn they help us attain a zero incident attitude.  It is our attention to safety and quality workmanship that separates us from our competition.  We make safety our number one priority.
